Fitty x Lululemon x Net-A-Porter
If you follow us on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook, you might have known that we were involved with the Lululemon Westfield store opening (think we might have mentioned it once or twice...).
The Net-A-Porter event
Lululemon, being no ordinary activewear brand, had no ordinary store opening weekend. And sure, we may be biased, but the pinnacle was definitely a private yoga session and brunch with Net-a-Porter. And they wanted us involved with this dreamy fitness / fashion mix.
With 40 yoga mats lining the shop's floor, we built a wall of Fitty boxes that formed the backdrop to the yoga session, hosted by Marc Hatvani, the store's yoga ambassador. A lot of shaking and sweating later, the Net-a-Porter crew were all handed a Fitty box (can we use the word pinnacle again?), a fresh Lululemon yoga matt, and brunch provided by Farm Girl Cafe. Side note: if you haven't visited the Aussie-run Farm Girl cafe on Portobello Road yet, you HAVE too – they're amazing, the food's amazing, but it gets super busy (for a reason) so try to avoid the 12-2pm rush.
and then what happened?
We were there all weekend meeting people, perfecting our downwards dog (and trying on everything in-store). Happy Hour everyday meant beats (Swedish DJ...say no more), free beers, protein balls, and great chat. In front of the huge living wall outside the store front (great photo opportunity, FYI), the store ambassadors and the team got their sweat on, practising yoga, HITT, ballet and hulahooping.
TOP TIP: every Sunday at 10:30am they offer a free yoga session with one of their ambassadors, but it's first come first matt, so you'll want to get there early. It's usually followed by some kind of smoothie and brunch snacks from a local healthy cafe too = massive bonus.
