Avocados have hit peak fan-girl status. And while we slightly resent the memes and the "omg I'd die without avo" attitude, they're a bloody brilliant, high healthy fat single-seeded berry. Yes you read that right, avocados are technically a berry. You're welcome.
Anyway, it turns out you can make them into a chocolate mousse (great for keto, paleo, and high fat low carb diets) – and the result is damn delicious.
2 ripe avocados, pitted and peeled
3 tbsp raw cacao powder (we used Sevenhills)
1 scoop protein powder (we used BULK POWDERS vegan protein powder in Banana Caramel, from The Yoga Box)
1/4 cup coconut milk
1 squeeze Modern Nature liquid stevia
1/2 tsp vanilla powder
1. Blend all the ingredients in a blender or food processor. You might need to add more milk depending the size of your avocados.
2. Carefully put them into small ramekins or glasses.
3. If you're feeling extra, sprinkle with rose petals.
