A: Stop chasing perfection. The fact that we even believe that something exists out ’there' that is perfect is exactly what is holding us back from truly loving ourselves. As soon as you let go of that, something incredible happens… You can be YOURSELF. When you drop this idea of perfection, you can finally start embracing who you really are.
A: Start by identifying where this has shown up in your life then work to reclaim your power around food. Put your health and wellbeing first and start taking good care of you rather than taking good care of a number on the scale or a clothing size. This is a subtle yet huge mindset difference and choosing to choose to love you now will change everything, trust me.
A: 1. Let go of thinking you're not doing it right. There is no 'right' way - just close your eyes and don't overthink it!
2. Do it first thing in the morning without looking at social media first. This means your subconscious is prime for meditation and you're less likely to have a bazillion thoughts racing through your mind.
Create a ritual out of it. Same time, same place. This makes it easier to engrain as a habit into your life. I also really love the Headspace app.
A: I'm always reading books and listening to podcasts, I love learning! I very rarely watch Netflix or anything like that - I'm only interested in consuming things that are good for me and will challenge me to grow.
A: Thank you! I'm inspired by a lot of people. Female thought leaders inspire me a lot. Oprah, Marianne Williamson, Marie Forleo to name a few.
A: Just recently, my boyfriend and I have joined #4amclub – going to bed early and waking up at 4am so we can make the most of our day. The first thing I do after waking is meditate and then crack open my laptop to begin work, usually writing or planning content for future courses, videos or events. At about 9am, we stop for coffee and breakfast (usually avocado toast or a smoothie).
A: Hearing stories from my clients about how their lives are changing. It makes me cry a lot. Aside from work, it's spending time with the people I love.
A: Laptop, journal, headphones!
A: I love yoga, Muay Thai, swimming and trying out new fitness classes! I’ve also recently started working out in the gym. I bought a couple of kettle bells to use during at-home workouts and loved them!
A: I’m currently prepping for my first TED talk in December! After that I’ll be focusing on the launch of my next book, Hungry For More, as well as planning for Goddess Retreats in some brand new locations, the first Self Love Summit in London in July, a Goddess Ambassador Training and a brand new course!
